I haven't written an entry in this blog in a while. Another blog has preoccupied me. Life with Leuca. Leuca is our 5 month old puppy, an Old English Bulldogge. Yes a puppy has taken over my life. And my blog posts. hahaha
Actually, she's a breath of fresh air. Her homecoming was definitely a big change in my life. Our life. My daughter who is now going on 19 has been bugging me to get a dog for years. I always said no of course. It was just the 2 of us then and all I can think of is how in the world am I to raise a little girl and a dog by myself. Almost four years ago in September, I got another chance in love and met the man of my dreams. We were married within 2 years. He also kept bugging me about getting a dog. Of course both my daughter and my husband ganged up on me, to convince me to get a dog. A bulldog.
Well, that was last year around September. When I warmed up to the idea, the love started to kick in. After research, upon research on how to make it work and be good at adopting, I warmed up to an entirely different world. The world of puppy parenting. December 19, 2009 was homecoming and never again was our life and our home the same again.
